His Story
Jaren was raised in Lotorn and trained to serve its royal family. He became a skilled knight and eventually served as second to Prince Peter, who was once his closest friend and the man Jaren considered a brother. That relationship shaped much of Jaren’s life, making Peter’s eventual betrayal especially devastating.
Now separated from the kingdom he once served, Jaren is forced to confront the difference between loyalty to a ruler and loyalty to what is right. His elemental gift allows him to wield fire, but the strength of that power is closely tied to emotions he struggles to control.
